Excellent food, marvellous service and very cosy interior, highly recommended! God knows how difficult it is to get vegetables on your plate in this region, so this is most welcome. As a bonus, kitchen hours also fit anyone not born in Spain!

We were walking the Camino and stayed for one night in Burgos and were looking for dietary options to eat out as my wife is gluten intolerant and potato intolerant. We happened to pass Curcuma and we’re so glad we went inside. What a lovely little place, lovely people and great nourishing food. Staff were super helpful and smiley and we ended up sharing three delicious dishes. My wife Tess couldn’t believe virtually the whole menu was gluten free! It was such a treat for her. They even had gluten free beer. And the music was fantastic. You don’t expect to hear Charlotte Gainsborough tracks playing when you eat out! It was magical and really made our Camino. Food made with love! The only sad thing is we don’t have a restaurant like yours in our hometown! So we’ll just have to come back to Burgos! Thank you Mike and Tess Brennen, England

Excellent food. The quiche was exceptional. Unfortunately the space is not well used so there's not much sitting space. And the prices are a little higher than we would've liked

I ate at this wonderful healthy restaurant twice last year while walking the Camino de Santiago! The menu is unique and extensive if you’re vegetarian or vegan. This was very welcome after the giant amounts of delicious carbs I ingested! I had a salad with sweet potatoes that was so memorable. The following morning I had breakfast granola and fruit. So delish! I met other pilgrims here both days so it holds sweet memories. Stop and treat yourself but don’t be in a rush because the owners take their time to cook and serve you well. Also, don’t have an attitude just chill and enjoy their Spanish hospitality.

Really good idea and good uses of the space. Perfect location. Ideal for any circumstance of the day, casual meeting with friends, tea spot, organic grocery store and of course casual restaurant. I went for lunch on a weekday, it wasn’t crazy busy but decent amount of people. The place it’s indeed famous in town. The dishes hasn’t changed much since my last visit. The pizza was a bit undercooked in the base. Perhaps cooking the base first and then baking it with the rest of the ingredients would have helped. The desserts were quite good. Nachos were expensive- 7’80 for it was too much. Haven’t ordered the veggybowl but it seemed the best option. Def worth trying it out.

I was looking for a vegetarian restaurant in Burgos for a friend's daughter. My first choice was closed at the weekend so we went to Curcuma. We reserved a table for 4. You order at the bar and they call you when it's ready. I ordered the sweet potato stuffed with chickpeas and pumpkin seeds. It was delicious and plentiful. We shared guacamole and a cous-cous salad with tomatoes which was also tasty. We didn't have dessert there. I didn't pay so I can't say how much it was. I would recommend it but there isn't too much space. A communal table and then some individual tables where we sat.
